Rural Landscapes, Mixie TN

Mixie is an unicorporated township sitting between Paris and Huntingdon TN on Hwy 77. The only 'official' things, besides maps, that say 'Mixie' are two signs outside a one-room community meeting house. They announce birthdays on one of the signs ;o)

First, there are some assorted shots of a beautiful oxbow about 5 miles from the Mixie community center. We had the landowner's permission to walk around for the day.
